Saint Arveth of the Open Hand was a historical religious figure associated with the War of the False Saints.

Status

Generally accepted as genuine.

Associated Tradition

Mercy, endurance, and aid to the suffering.

Historical Role

Arveth was a relief priest and battlefield healer who treated civilians and soldiers during one of the early regional conflicts of the War of the False Saints.

Contemporary records describe him as refusing payment, ransom, or political favour for healing.

Later Use

After his death, several factions attempted to claim Arveth as their patron. Later investigation found no strong evidence that he supported those factions during life.

His sainthood is generally accepted, but many later uses of his name are considered false attribution.
