Brother Halvek the White¶
Brother Halvek the White was a monastic reformer associated with the War of the False Saints.
Status¶
Condemned, later partially rehabilitated.
Associated Claim¶
Confession, judgement, and spiritual cleansing.
Historical Role¶
Halvek led a reform movement against corruption in several wealthy temples.
His followers later carried out violent purges, claiming that Halvek had ordered them through posthumous visions.
Later Review¶
Records from Halvekās lifetime show no clear support for these actions. Later review concluded that his reform teachings were likely genuine, but his followers fabricated visions after his death.
He remains controversial because some churches still blame his doctrine for the violence that followed.
